Mike Cook (1932 - 2011) - a tribute
It is with the deepest sadness that we have to report that our long time Show Manager, and the founder of the York Model Railway Show, Mike Cook, passed away peacefully in his sleep on 16th December 2011. Mike will be deeply missed by all who knew him both in the model railway community and within the many other activities he had been a part of over his lifetime. So long Mike, you were a good friend to me and many, you will be greatly missed. RIP. Mike's funeral was held on Friday 30th December 2011.
